This week the company reposed the question and gave a talk on design in China.  Armed with some sobering statistics (in 2010 there will be 63 million recent graduates looking for jobs and only 10% of design students will find jobs in design) a healthy discussion ensued.

The second half of the talk heard a presentation on designing for tooling consideration from our Mechanical Engineering department with close focus on how to design products and tools for the best parting line placement.
